Media Kit

BUTTER, America’s equitable fine art fair, returns this Labor Day Weekend for its third iteration. Featured recently on the cover of The New York Times Arts + Culture section, BUTTER continues to test models towards equity in the arts as it advocates for the care and economic vitality of Black visual artists. The goal of the show is to sell or loan 100% of the exhibiting artworks, giving 100% of the proceeds to the artists, an arrangement made possible by our generous sponsors and the 200 creatives and volunteers that bring BUTTER to life.

We deeply appreciate your interest in BUTTER, and we hope you can join us to experience art in a more equitable way this August 31 – September 3, 2023. Once you’ve had a chance to review the following information, images, and promotional graphics, please let us know if there are any questions we can answer or if there are any story ideas or artists you’d like to explore further. We’d be happy to host you at BUTTER this year, so do let us know if you’d like complimentary media passes or if you’ll be needing assistance with travel and accomodations. Hope to see you Labor Day Weekend at the Stutz in Indianapolis!

Please contact Keri Kirschner to schedule a BUTTER media tour, interview, or sneak peek.
