From Indianapolis to Inglewood, Tickets Are Now On Sale for America’s Most Impactful Fine Art Fair

LOS ANGELES (December 16, 2025) – BUTTER Fine Art Fair today announced tickets on sale for the premier Los Angeles edition of its nationally recognized fine art fair. A well-curated collection of contemporary artworks by independent, emerging, mid-career, and established artists, BUTTER LA at Hollywood Park is an immersive four-day fair highlighting the creativity of the African diaspora in conjunction with the city’s Frieze Week. 

Taking place over February 26 – March 1, 2026 in Inglewood’s Hollywood Park, BUTTER has generated over $1.2 million in artwork sales to date, building one of the country’s most celebrated new art experiences. Nakeyta Moore, past BUTTER curator and founder of the collectors support platform ARTLOUDLA, will lead curatorial efforts for BUTTER LA, alongside creative directors and GANGGANG co-founders Malina Simone Bacon and Alan Bacon, Jr. Joining the curatorial team for the first time is London-based Kimberly Drew, curator, writer, and cultural force, formerly of Pace Gallery.

Tickets are now on sale at www.butterartfair.com. General Admission tickets are $50 per day or $125 for three-day unlimited access to BUTTER on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Preview Night tickets are $200 for Thursday night and include General Admission with weekend return access. VIP Passes are also available. Students 18 and under are encouraged to attend BUTTER and expert conversations for free on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, no pre registration required.

Past BUTTER exhibitions have featured work from noteworthy artists such as April Bey, Autumn Breon, Kim Dacres, Cortney Herron, Sonia Barrett, Móyòsóré Martins, Mason Archie, Ashley Nora, FITZ, and Gary Gee, with acquisitions from major collections including the National Museum of African American History and Culture at the Smithsonian Institute; SF MoMA; The Whitney; The Rubell Family Collection; LACMA; Art Institute of Chicago; Tate Britain Galleries; The Studio Museum in Harlem; Cranbrook Art Museum; Contemporary Museum of East Africa; and Detroit Institute of Arts.

In July 2025, BUTTER brought a taste of its vision to Context Projects in View Park, California, designed in collaboration with Khalil Kinsey to introduce the model to top collectors, institutions, and galleries. The temporary exhibition featured work by four California and four Indiana-based artists, resulting in the sales of 10 artworks leading to $28,700 in sales.

The multi-day, cultural experience will take place in 14,000 square feet with outdoor activations throughout the campus in the retail hub of Inglewood’s Hollywood Park, with programming on February 26 – March 1, during Black History Month as both a celebration and a call to remembrance. Similar to GANGGANG’s flagship fair model, BUTTER LA will include 50 percent of exhibiting artists from California, with 25 percent of the artists coming from Indiana. The remaining artists will be selected from other cities from across the country and the globe.

Signature programming will include BUTTER Education Day, connecting students to creative talent while countering the recent trend of disinvestment in arts education. And the fair’s popular Conversation Stage, which brings forth critical dialogue and discussion around culture and creativity. The emphasis on DJ’s as backdrop to art sales will continue and another BUTTER signature, the Performance Stage, will highlight the area’s top live music talent.
